Well, what's more fun than an ice fishing derby and SXS ice races in the middle of January? You know we're excited to be heading to Houghton Lake to join the party!! There's a parade, carnival rides, beer tent, vendors - all kinds of excitement! Be sure to stop by our station in the main vendor tent to pick up your Mucked Up swag. . The Downtown Traverse City Association hosts this fundraiser to raise money to support many local Downtown Traverse City events we know and love. Volunteer duties include wiping down tables, tray building, recycling, ticket selling, etc. Volunteers get a FREE chili sampler! Please come join us to help make this event a success!

Get Out and Get Active! Hanson Hills Snow Sports School is offering a free X-C classic beginner's ski lesson every Saturday at noon. Lesson includes rental equipment for the day, trail pass for the day and 1 hr of instruction. To participate call Hanson Hills Snow Sports School at 989-348-9266 to pre-register or show up the day of the class. A $5.00 trail maintenance fee is appreciated.

Spire & Ice Fest
Join us for the 1st outdoor party of 2020 at The Village!
Bundle up, bring your favorite beverage and come hang out at the inaugural Spire & Ice Fest from 3-7pm on the Piazza, Saturday, Jaunary 18th. Bonfires, Live Music provided by Finster in the Morning on North FM, hot chocolate, mini tunnel tours & a frozen bocce ball tournament!
Uptown Dogs will be onsite slinging dogs or you can grab delicious Mexican eats from Spanglish.
S’more kits will be available for suggested $2 donation with 100% of the proceeds going to the Cherryland Humane Society.

Cross Country Ski Headquarters has teamed up with Michigan Ski Industries Association to offer a very affordable introduction to the sport of cross country skiing! Discover Michigan is designed to introduce this healthy, fun, outdoor activity to anyone with an interest in outdoor winter recreation. The program includes a beginner group ski lesson, ski equipment rental, and XC SKI HQ facilities pass for the day. The price is $20 for adults and children 6 years and older. At the end of the program, participants can submit their program completion form online for a $20 off coupon, valid at participating Michigan Ski Industries Association ski shops!
